Contacting us
When you contact us via the form on this website or by email, the data you provide (such as name, company, email address, phone number, your message and any file you choose to attach) is stored for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
The contents of your enquiry are stored in our database on our own server (see “Hosting”) so we can handle it. The related notification emails are sent via our own mailbox with the provider STRATO AG (Germany).
Hosting & server log files
This website, its application and database run on a server operated by us. When you visit the site, technical information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser transmits — for example IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and operating system. This data is required to display the website reliably and securely (legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
Payments & orders
When you buy from our shop, payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. / Stripe, Inc.). To complete your order, the data required for the purchase (e.g. name, email, billing & shipping address, phone number and order details) is processed by Stripe and shared with us so we can fulfil and ship your order. We do not receive or store your full card details. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). A transfer to the USA may occur and is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Order and invoice data is retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law (generally up to 10 years). Your order data is also stored in our database on our own server so you can view your orders and we can fulfil them.
Customer account
You can create a customer account to view your orders and save addresses. We process your email address, a password (stored only as a hash), and optionally your name, phone number and billing/shipping addresses; your order history is also linked to your account. This data is stored in our database on our own server. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (use of the customer account).
You can view and change your account and address data at any time in your account and deactivate your account yourself. Data from completed orders is subject to statutory retention periods and is only deleted once these expire.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies and does not profile your behaviour. We only use technically necessary local storage in your browser to remember the contents of your shopping cart on your device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
Fonts
All fonts used on this website are hosted on our own servers. No fonts are loaded from third-party providers, so no data is transmitted to them.
Encryption
This site uses TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS) for security and to protect the transmission of your data.
No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Your rights
You generally have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection claims have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Bavaria this is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA). To exercise your rights, contact us at info@labland.ai.
Updates
We may adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services.
